Isabella Castillo triunfa con ''poderes sobrenaturales'' en la serie ''Grachi''

(EFE) -. Isabella Castillo, la estrella de la fantasía de Nickelodeon Latinoamérica la serie de televisión "Grachi", se ha convertido en la primera latina en recibir un Kids 'Choice Award.

"Honestamente, no pensé que iba a ganar. Pero esto me ha demostrado que tengo los aficionados maravillosos con los que puedo contar", la actriz de 17 años de edad y cantante, que ganó en la categoría de Artista Latino Favorito por su papel de una bruja adolescente romántica y soñadoradijo.



Nacida en CubaCastillo se crió en una familia de artistas, la hija del percusionista José Castillo y la cantante Delia Díaz de VillegasSu  hermana Giselle es pianista.

La familia emigró de Cuba en 1997 y tras una breve estancia en Belice se establecieron en los Estados Unidos.

A partir de ese momento, Isabella comenzó a participar en obras teatrales y espectáculos musicales como "Fantasía de Disney en" en Miami. Pero fue durante sus vacaciones de un año que la familia se fue a España y su suerte cambió para siempre.

"Fui invitada a participar en el casting de uno de los musicales más importantes,'El diario de Anna Frank - Un canto a la Vida", por el productor musical Oscar Gómezy me eligió para el papel principal ", dijo la joven mujer, quien ganó el Premio Gran Vía en España a la mejor actriz nueva.

En la actualidad, además de continuar con el musical gira "Grachi en vivo", que se hace en teatros en México, Isabella está preparando las canciones para su primer álbum.

(EFE).- Isabella Castillo, the star of the Nickelodeon Latin America fantasy television series "Grachi," has become the first Latina to receive a Kids' Choice Award.
"Honestly, I didn't think I was going to win. But this has proven to me that I have marvelous fans on whom I can count," the 17-year-old actress and singer, who won in the Favorite Latino Artist category for her role as a romantic and dreamy teenage witch, said.
Born in Cuba, Castillo grew up in a family of artists, the daughter of percussionist Jose Castillo and singer Delia Diaz de Villegas. Her sister Gisel is a pianist.
The family emigrated from Cuba in 1997 and after a brief stay in Belize they settled in the United States.
From that moment on, Isabella began to participate in theatrical works and musical shows like "Fantasia en Disney" in Miami. But it was during their vacation one year that the family went to Spain and her luck changed forever.
"I was invited to participate in the casting of one of the most important musicals, 'El diario de Anna Frank - Un canto a la vida,' by musical producer Oscar Gomez, and they selected me for the main role," said the young woman, who won the Gran Via Award in Spain for best new actress.
At present, in addition to continuing with the musical tour "Grachi en vivo," which has been packing theaters in Mexico, Isabella is preparing the songs for her first album.
